Acoustics for Present and Future Architects, Designers, and Artists

Zackery Belanger, principal of Detroit firm Arcgeometer, is an acoustician and researcher with 15 years of experience on projects large and small. This lecture will cover approaches and case studies in the design of spaces for sound, including reverberation control, isolation, and room geometry. Theoretical ideas about the potential future for acoustic design will also be presented.

Event is free, but registration is requested.

Continuing education learning units will be provided by AIA Detroit.

Please use UDM’s Livernois Entrance and proceed to the Architecture Building.  The program is in the lecture hall.
